  • 5.0 out of 5 stars from Amazon Customer -- Extremely useful business book : This is an unusual business book -- blisteringly honest about what really happens in the workplace, and with practical, insightful ideas and coaching tips about how to address -- and overcome -- the challenges women face. • 5.0 out of 5 stars from Theresa -- Must-Read for Women in Leadership : Women in authority have been -- and are still-- rare in business and in politics. Even when women win those coveted leadership roles, we often find that they secure the roles just as the company is about to fail or when several others have already attempted what seems to be the impossible. • 5.0 out of 5 stars from Amanda N. Gibson -- Every woman that is hoping to advance their career should read this book : From going after what you want to executive presence, and from compensation to what can perhaps be one of the trickest workplace challenges for women to navigate: relationships with other women, this book is packed full of solid steps women can take at any stage of their career. If you're not in charge, read it now to help you navigate the journey. If you've reached a position of authority, it can help you sort out some of the "crazy-making" workplace dynamics that are specific to women, identifying and separating what is within your control and what you can let go as a result of the system. It will also help you be a better partner to other women. I've already purchased additional copies for some of my previous business partners and mentees. This book is a must-read.
